FOR MY STUDENTS

This is the song we have been practicing on Wednesdays. If you can get used to using the 3rd, 4th, and 2nd fingers to make the major chord it will make it very easy for you when you go to play the C# minor chord. All you will have to do is slide the major chord formation up and replace the 2nd finger with the 1st finger on the 3rd string. The 3rd and 4th fingers will stay on the 5th and 6th strings for each chord. Play all the strings on each chord. (See chart below) (Using the 3rd, 4th, and 2nd fingers in this way will also prepare you for playing barre chords)

This is the song we were learning on June 9,2010
